Del Sol: An IB World School in the Making
Del Sol is proud to be a candidate school* for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP), Diploma Programme (DP), and Career-related Programme (CP). As we work towards full IB authorization, we are committed to providing a high-quality, internationally recognized education that fosters intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, intercultural understanding, and a passion for lifelong learning.
Currently, we offer the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) for students in Grades 9 and 10. The MYP delivers a broad and balanced framework of learning that encourages students to connect their studies with real-world issues and challenges. It serves as excellent preparation for success in both the DP and CP.
In the coming years, we will expand to offer both the IB Diploma Programme (DP) and the IB Career-related Programme (CP) to our 11th and 12th-grade students. These programs provide distinct yet complementary pathways:
-
The DP offers a challenging academic curriculum designed to prepare students for university and beyond.
-
The CP blends academic study with practical, career-related learning, empowering students to excel in both higher education and the workplace.
Our IB journey reflects our belief in developing well-rounded, reflective, and internationally minded learners who are prepared to thrive in a changing world.
We invite our community to learn more about the IB and what it offers for students' futures.
Del Sol is currently a candidate school. Only schools authorized by the IB Organization can offer any of its four academic programmes. Candidate status gives no guarantee that authorization will be granted.
